The Inspiration Behind Idaho Metal Decor
I was raised in Bellevue, Idaho, in the heart of the Wood River Valley, where the rhythm of life followed the turning of the seasons.
My name is Alberto, founder of Idaho Metal Decor, and my roots here run deep.
Growing up, summers meant floating the Big Wood River, biking around town until the stars appeared, and camping at Redfish Lake with the scent of pine all around. I regularly hiked Carbonate Mountain, stood in awe beneath the Milky Way at Prairie Creek and Redfish Lake, and wandered the Sawtooth Range until they felt like lifelong friends. And I still do.
Fall brought the thrill of suiting up to play under the Friday night lights with my fellow Wolverines, and weekend trips to Boise to cheer on the Boise State Broncos.
Winters were for skiing Baldy, Pomerelle, and Bogus Basin, then warming up at the lodge with friends. Our family adventures took us along the Snake River, to the Filer Fair, up to Coeur d'Alene, and to Twin Falls to watch base jumpers leap from the Perrine Bridge.
Those rivers, mountains, skies, and small town moments are the soul of every piece we design. I created Idaho Metal Decor because I wanted people to celebrate the places, memories, and traditions that make Idaho feel like home. From rugged mountain silhouettes to custom Idaho cabin signs, many of our designs can be personalized with family names, cabin names, addresses, or meaningful places around Idaho.
